Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I hired Christopher Rogers at Habush Habush & Rottier to handle a personal injury case after a multi-vehicle collision on I-94. His firm's reputation in Milwaukee is well-known, and his specific recognition in personal injury litigation was a primary factor in my decision. Mr. Rogers’s knowledge of Wisconsin personal injury law is evident, and he was thorough in explaining the legal process and the nuances of my case. His nearly ten years of experience showed in his strategic approach. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the legal outcome was ultimately satisfactory, there were significant lags in communication. Responses to emails or calls often took several days, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. At times, I felt like I had to follow up repeatedly to get updates on basic procedural steps. His expertise is not in question—he clearly knows his field, as his 'Lawyer of the Year' accolades suggest. But the client service aspect felt just adequate. For someone who values consistent, proactive updates, this could be a drawback. He is a capable attorney who achieved the result, but the journey there required more patience on my part than I anticipated.
