Competent on the deal, but communication could improve

Christopher Mangin handled the acquisition of a mid-sized tech firm for our private equity group. His technical knowledge of leveraged buyout structures and M&A law, honed over nearly two decades, was evident and he is clearly recognized in the field for good reason. The legal work on the transaction itself was solid. However, our team sometimes experienced delays in receiving responses to non-urgent emails, and the overall process felt more transactional than collaborative. For complex deals in D.C., his expertise is reliable, but managing client expectations on communication and accessibility could be enhanced.
