I focus my practice in matters involving corporate transactions, state and federal regulatory compliance, professional and facility licensure, and general corporate issues. Corporate matters I represent clients in corporate acquisitions and formations of hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, physician groups and dental practices. I assist them in general corporate matters as well, including contract drafting and negotiation, governance issues and corporate planning. State and federal regulatory compliance I counsel clients on Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party payor enrollment, payment issues and general compliance matters and advise them on Stark and Anti-Kickback issues in addition to regulatory compliance in transactional matters. Professional and facility licensure I’ve represented clients regarding professional, facility and equipment licensure matters. I also help clients obtain approvals from state and federal agencies in connection with acquisitions and certificates of need for new health care facilities and equipment.
