Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I engaged Christina McDonald at Dickinson Wright to handle a complex employment dispute for my small business. She understood the nuances of Michigan employment law and provided a solid legal strategy. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the legal outcome was ultimately satisfactory, there were significant delays in communication. Responses to emails often took several days, and it was sometimes difficult to get a clear timeline for next steps. For a client navigating a stressful litigation process, this lack of proactive updates was a notable drawback.
