Competent but communication could be more consistent

I hired Chloe Sease at Diggs & Sadler to handle a complex child custody modification. Her recognition in Best Lawyers for Family Law was a key factor in my decision, and her knowledge of Texas family law statutes was evident. She provided solid strategic advice for our hearings. However, the experience was mixed. While her legal analysis was sound, there were noticeable delays in email responses, sometimes taking several business days for a reply on time-sensitive matters. This created some unnecessary anxiety during an already stressful process. The support staff in the Austin office was polite, but I sometimes felt I had to follow up to keep things moving. For straightforward legal work, she is capable, but if you require frequent updates or are managing a high-conflict situation, you may need to set very clear communication expectations from the start. She is a knowledgeable attorney, but the client service aspect felt just adequate.
