Ms. Kornick demonstrated clear competence in the substantive legal issues; her analysis of the appellate risks in our case was particularly sharp, reflecting her noted appellate practice. The legal strategy she devised was sound, and the outcome, while not overwhelmingly favorable, was acceptable. However, the experience fell short of expectations in client management. Communication was sometimes delayed, with responses taking several days during critical phases, which added to our stress. While her legal work was technically proficient, we sometimes felt like just another case file, lacking the proactive updates and personal reassurance one hopes for in high-stakes litigation. For straightforward legal expertise, she is capable, but for those who prioritize consistent, responsive partnership, there may be better fits.
