We hired Mr. Smarr to assist with the complex liquor license transfer for our family-owned restaurant in Jefferson City. His deep expertise, especially given his former role with the Division of Liquor Control, was evident. He navigated the regulatory hurdles efficiently. However, our experience was mixed. While the legal outcome was satisfactory, we sometimes experienced significant delays in receiving callbacks or updates, which added to our stress. For straightforward compliance matters, his 40+ years in food and beverage law are a clear asset. For clients who need more frequent, proactive communication, setting clear expectations upfront would be advisable.
