Competent on complex finance matters, but communication could improve

Mr. Loumiet handled a complex commercial loan restructuring for our Florida-based business. His deep knowledge of banking and finance law, honed over two decades, was evident, and his recognition in that field is well-deserved. He navigated the corporate and regulatory issues with clear expertise. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal outcome was solid, there were periods where communication lagged, making it difficult to get timely updates on the process. His counsel was sound, but the overall responsiveness and client management felt just adequate. For straightforward, high-stakes finance work, he is capable, but be prepared to manage the communication flow proactively.
