Competent on complex municipal bond work

Our town engaged Cam Siegrist and Bowles Rice to handle a significant municipal bond issuance for infrastructure upgrades. There's no question about his deep expertise in public finance law; his nearly two decades of experience and the professional recognition he's received were evident in the technical precision of the documents. He clearly knows the West Virginia landscape inside and out. However, our experience was mixed on the service side. While the final work product was solid, communication sometimes lagged. Responses to emails could take several days, and it was occasionally difficult to get a clear timeline for next steps. For straightforward questions, we often felt we were navigating through junior staff. He delivered on the core legal task, but the process required more proactive follow-up from our side than we anticipated. He's a capable attorney for complex finance matters, just set clear expectations on availability from the outset.
