Competent real estate guidance, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Curtis to assist with a complex commercial property purchase in St. Augustine. His 31 years of experience and recognition in real estate law by Best Lawyers were evident in his thorough review of the title and contract documents. He identified several potential issues that saved us from future complications. However, the process felt somewhat transactional. Responses to emails were sometimes delayed by several business days, and explanations, while legally sound, could be brief. For straightforward legal matters, his expertise from Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball is solid. I just expected more proactive communication given his established reputation. The work was completed accurately, but the client experience was merely adequate.
