Lash Harrison has more than 50 years of experience representing management in all aspects of employment and labor law.During those 50 years he has represented employers in almost every state and in a variety of industries.Throughout his career, Lash has served in leadership roles in a number of professional and civic organizations. He was a member of the Emory University's Board of Visitors from 1999 to 2002 and a member of the Board's Executive Committee in 2001-2002. Currently, Lash is a member of the Emory University Law School Dean's Advisory Board. He also has served as a Trustee and Board Chair of Trinity School, Inc. in Atlanta.From the firm's inception in 1978 with 14 lawyers, until December of 2017, Lash served as its Managing Partner. He oversaw the growth of the firm in recent years and FordHarrison is now one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the United States. Lash has received several ‘top attorney' honors, including being named to the Hall of Fame of Human Resources Executives' 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys list. A solid, experienced attorney with some communication delays

I engaged C. Lash Harrison of FordHarrison to advise my mid-sized manufacturing company on a complex non-compete agreement and potential litigation with a departing executive. Mr. Harrison's depth of experience was immediately apparent. His 50+ years focused on management-side labor and employment law, including his recognition in those fields, gave us confidence. He drew on precedent from various states, which was valuable given our multi-state operations. His strategy was sound and ultimately helped us reach a settlement. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While his legal acumen is undeniable, communication was sometimes slower than we expected. Responses to emails could take several days, and there were instances where we felt we had to follow up to get updates on case developments. For the premium rate, we anticipated a more responsive partnership. He is clearly a highly knowledgeable attorney, and his long tenure at Emory and in the Atlanta legal community is impressive. If you need a seasoned strategist on a matter where immediate turnaround isn't critical, he is a competent choice. For matters requiring frequent touchpoints and rapid-fire advice, you might want to clarify communication protocols upfront.
