Mr. Bokor assisted with a complex estate planning matter involving a family business in Miami. His 38 years of experience and LL.M. in Taxation from NYU were clearly evident; his analysis of the tax implications was thorough and precise. It's no surprise he's been recognized as Lawyer of the Year. However, while the final work product was excellent, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Communication was primarily through his assistant, and responses to non-urgent emails could take several days. For straightforward guidance, he was great, but I sometimes felt out of the loop on procedural details. He is undoubtedly a highly competent attorney at Johnson, Pope, Bokor, but the client service aspect was just adequate for the premium rate.
