Competent on insurance claim, but communication was inconsistent

When it came to the substantive legal work—reviewing the policy, drafting the appeal, and negotiating with the adjusters—Brian was thorough and knowledgeable. He successfully got the claim re-opened and secured a reasonable settlement. However, the experience was mixed on the client service front. There were often long wait times for email replies, sometimes stretching to several business days, which was stressful during an active claim. While his advice was sound when I could reach him, I sometimes felt I had to initiate contact to get updates. For straightforward insurance disputes, his expertise from Madison is evident and he gets results, but you need to be prepared to manage your own expectations regarding responsiveness. He did the job competently, but the process could have been smoother.
