Brian Crist at Barnes & Thornburg handled the negotiation of our new commercial lease for our Indianapolis office. His knowledge of real estate law, particularly the nuances of green development clauses we wanted included, was evident and he is clearly experienced. The final documents were thorough. However, the process felt somewhat transactional at times. Responses to emails could take a couple of days, and we occasionally had to follow up for updates. While the work product was solid and his recognition in the field is well-deserved, the client communication and pace didn't quite match the premium level we anticipated.
