I hired Bernardo Espinosa at Assembla to assist with a residential property purchase in Denver. His background in Real Estate Law, including the recognition he's received in that field, gave me confidence in his technical ability. He was thorough in reviewing the contract and identified several potential issues with the title report that could have caused problems down the line. The final closing documents were prepared accurately. However, the experience was mixed. While Bernardo was knowledgeable, there were often significant delays in receiving email responses, sometimes taking several business days. This created anxiety during time-sensitive negotiation periods. His guidance, when provided, was solid, but I sometimes felt I had to follow up repeatedly to get updates. For a straightforward transaction, his legal expertise is adequate and he clearly understands the intricacies of real estate. For clients who prioritize constant communication and hand-holding, the process might feel a bit detached. He completed the core legal work correctly, but the overall client service experience could be improved.
