Exceptional Health Care Antitrust Guidance

Our health system recently faced a complex antitrust review concerning a proposed merger with a regional specialty provider. The regulatory scrutiny was intense, and we needed counsel who understood both the letter of the law and the practical realities of the healthcare market. Barry Rosen was recommended for his deep specialization, and his half-century of experience was immediately apparent. He didn't just recite statutes; he provided strategic context shaped by decades of navigating these exact waters with state and federal agencies. His recognition as a leading health care and antitrust attorney in Baltimore is well-deserved. Barry and his team at Gordon Feinblatt crafted a compelling narrative for the regulators that addressed competitive concerns head-on, which was instrumental in securing approval. The one area where we occasionally felt a slight delay was in receiving written follow-ups to our calls, as his senior leadership role at the firm means his schedule is exceptionally demanding. That said, when he was engaged, his focus was complete. His advice was pragmatic, cutting through legal complexities to give our board clear, actionable direction. For high-stakes healthcare matters requiring seasoned judgment, Barry Rosen is an outstanding resource.
