A solid attorney with deep local knowledge

I engaged B. Cort Delany to assist with updating my family's estate plan, including a trust and wills. His 37 years of experience in Greenwich and his recognition by Super Lawyers were certainly evident in the thoroughness of the documents he prepared. He is clearly an expert in trusts and estates, and his long tenure at Cummings & Lockwood inspires confidence. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal at times. Communication was generally competent but not always prompt, with responses sometimes taking several days. While the final work product was legally sound, I occasionally felt like just another file in a very busy practice. For straightforward estate planning, he is a capable choice, but manage your expectations regarding accessibility and the level of personalized attention you might receive.
