Skilled Defense in Complex Cases

I hired Avery B. Pardee at Jones Walker LLP for a high-stakes white-collar criminal matter, and her expertise was evident from our first meeting. Her deep understanding of Louisiana criminal law and her background in complex investigations made her the ideal advocate for my case. Avery’s strategic approach and meticulous preparation gave me confidence throughout the process. She was particularly effective in anticipate the prosecution’s tactics, which ultimately led to a favorable resolution. While I appreciated her thoroughness, I wish the billing process had been more transparent upfront. That said, her legal acumen and dedication to my defense were outstanding. Avery’s national recognition in white-collar defense is well-deserved, and I’d confidently recommend her to anyone facing similar challenges. A 4.5-star experience, with room to improve on communication about costs.

Competent but could improve responsiveness

I hired Avery B. Pardee of Jones Walker LLP to handle a complex white-collar criminal matter in New Orleans. Her 18 years of experience and recognition in criminal defense were reassuring, and she demonstrated a strong understanding of the legal nuances in my case. Avery's strategic approach to navigating the investigation phase was particularly valuable, and her familiarity with government proceedings was evident. However, communication could have been more consistent. While she was thorough during consultations, delays in responses to my follow-up questions left me feeling slightly disconnected at times. The outcome was favorable, but I wish the process had felt more collaborative. For those needing a seasoned litigator in white-collar defense, Avery is certainly qualified, though I’d suggest managing expectations around communication timelines.

Experienced but Slow to Respond

Avery Pardee handled a complex white-collar case for me, and her knowledge of criminal defense and investigations was clearly evident. She's well-versed in the nuances of federal regulations and had a strong track record, which gave me confidence. However, communication could have been more proactive—there were times I had to reach out repeatedly for updates. While her legal strategy was sound, the delays in getting information made the process more stressful than necessary. I respect her expertise, especially her recognition in white-collar defense, but the firm's responsiveness left room for improvement. If you value thorough preparation over lightning-fast updates, she's a solid choice.
