Ashley C. (Lherisson) Williams focuses her practice on complex securities litigation and enforcement matters, as well as government and internal investigations. She has experience representing global corporations, financial institutions and individuals in investigations and enforcement proceedings before the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and other regulatory organizations.Ms. Williams joined WilmerHale after working for several years as a litigation associate in the New York office of two international law firms. Ms. Williams previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert D. Sack at the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, a law clerk for the Honorable Jane A. Restani at the US Court of International Trade, and a legal secondee at Goldman Sachs.Ms. Williams has been recognized by The National Black Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 lawyer for the past five years and named on the 2022 Rising List by the National Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Williams currently serves as Co-Chair of the SEO Junior Leadership Board and Co-Chair of the Pipeline to Practice Foundation. Ms. Williams is also the former Governance Chair of Ms. JD’s Board of Directors and a former member of the New York City Bar Association’s Women in the Legal Profession Committee. Ashley C.
