Anita B. Bandy

Competent but communication could be more consistent

I engaged Anita Bandy at Skadden Arps for a complex contract dispute involving a former business partner. Her credentials are impressive, and her recognition in commercial litigation is well-deserved; her strategic approach to our case was solid and her analysis of the contractual nuances was sharp. Ultimately, the matter was resolved favorably. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While Anita is clearly knowledgeable, there were periods where communication lagged. Responses to emails sometimes took several days, and updates on case developments often felt reactive rather than proactive. For a firm of this caliber and with her experience since graduating from American University in '89, I expected more consistent client management. She is a capable attorney who gets results, but the client service aspect felt merely adequate, which is why I'm giving a middle-of-the-road rating.
