Andrew D. Yates joined the firm as a Law Clerk in 2023. He became an associate in 2024 after he passed the Nevada Bar Exam. Andrew graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2024.During his time in law school, Andrew was able to serve as a student attorney at the Poverty Law & Policy Clinic, a Thomas and Mack Legal Clinic, where he had the opportunity to work with public entities and private organizations on poverty law issues related to real estate and access to healthcare. Andrew also had the opportunity to work as a Judicial Intern for two Nevada judges during his time in law school. Under the Honorable Susan H. Johnson in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, Andrew gained experience in business court and other civil cases. Under the Honorable Chief Judge Jerry A. Weiss, Andrew gained exposure to both civil and criminal issues including specialty courts.When he is not at work, Andrew is usually spending time with his family or friends.
