Strategic and knowledgeable counsel for our business

Andrew Wells provided excellent guidance as we navigated the formation of a new LLC for our family-owned restaurant group. His background as both a tax accountant and in-house counsel for a Maine business was immediately apparent; he understood our operational realities, not just the legal theory. He efficiently handled the entity structuring and drafted a clear operating agreement that addressed our specific succession planning concerns. His recognition in business organizations and tax law is well-deserved. While his billing rates are on the higher side for a smaller enterprise like ours, the strategic foresight he provided justified the investment. Communication was generally good, though there were a couple of instances where a follow-up email took a day longer than expected for a response. Overall, we feel well-represented and would confidently recommend him to other Maine businesses.
