Competent corporate counsel, but communication could improve

I engaged Andrew Kaminski at KMK to assist with the sale of my small manufacturing business in Cincinnati. His background in corporate law, including his recognition by Best Lawyers, was evident in the thoroughness of the asset purchase agreement and his handling of due diligence. He clearly knows the legal landscape. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the final work product was solid, there were periods where responses to emails took several days, which created anxiety during a fast-moving negotiation. At times, I felt I had to follow up to get updates on the timeline. His advice on real estate aspects of the sale, given his dual recognition in that field, was particularly helpful. For straightforward, complex legal work, Andrew is certainly capable. My three-star rating reflects competent legal expertise that met the core need, but the overall client experience was diminished by communication lags that made the process feel less collaborative than I had hoped.
