A competent attorney, but communication could be improved

I engaged Andy Savage to handle a complex regulatory compliance issue that had potential criminal exposure for my small business. There is no question about his deep expertise; his decades of experience in white-collar and general practice matters, and his recognition in the field, were evident in his strategic assessment of my case. He understood the nuances immediately and provided a solid, well-reasoned defense strategy that ultimately led to a favorable resolution without charges being filed. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While his legal work was sound, communication was often slower than I would have preferred. Responses to emails could take several days, and there were instances where I felt I had to follow up multiple times for updates. His focus is clearly on the courtroom and the legal intricacies, which is a strength, but it sometimes came at the expense of client management. For someone in a high-stakes situation, his competence is reassuring, but be prepared to manage your own expectations regarding accessibility and the pace of non-urgent communications. You're hiring a seasoned litigator, not a hand-holder.
