Competent handling of a complex commercial vehicle accident case

I engaged Andrew Webster of Young Moore and Henderson to represent my small trucking company following a significant multi-vehicle accident on I-40. With his 18 years of experience and specific recognition in Transportation Law, I was confident in his technical knowledge of the regulatory landscape, which proved accurate. His analysis of the FMCSA regulations and the carrier liability issues was thorough. The outcome of the case was ultimately satisfactory from a financial perspective, which is why I'm giving this rating. However, the experience had some notable friction points. Communication was sometimes slower than I would have liked; there were periods of several days where updates were not forthcoming unless I initiated contact. While I understand he is a busy attorney recognized by Best Lawyers, the wait times for returned calls or emails could be frustrating when urgent questions arose. Furthermore, the process felt somewhat more protracted than initially suggested. Mr. Webster is clearly a knowledgeable practitioner in the Raleigh area, and his firm has a strong reputation. For straightforward legal advice on transportation matters, he is certainly capable. Yet, for clients who prioritize consistent, proactive communication and very clear timeline management, there may be a gap between expectation and reality. He secured a reasonable settlement, but the journey there had its challenges.
