Knowledgeable on securities matters, but communication was inconsistent

Andres O'Laughlin at WilmerHale in Boston handled a complex securities-related dispute for our firm. His deep knowledge of securities regulation and litigation was evident, and his Harvard Law background and recognition in those fields certainly inspired confidence. The legal strategy he developed was sound. However, the experience was mixed. There were periods where we waited longer than expected for updates, requiring us to follow up. While the outcome was ultimately acceptable, the process felt less collaborative than we had hoped. He is clearly a competent attorney in commercial litigation, but managing client expectations and communication could be more consistent for someone with his 11 years of experience.
