Amy Warr came to Alexander Dubose & Jefferson after serving five years as an Assistant Solicitor General for the State of Texas. While at the Solicitor General's office, Amy handled many prominent appeals, including the challenge to the Ten Commandments monument on the Texas Capitol grounds in the United States Supreme Court and the 2005 School Finance case in the Supreme Court of Texas. At ADJT, Amy continues a high-level Texas and federal appellate practice. In 2008 she successfully represented 30 FDLS mothers before the Texas Supreme Court, winning the return of their children. Amy has been listed Texas Super Lawyers since 2008 and has appeared on its Top 50 Central/West Texas list. She has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2013. She is board-certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Amy received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, in 1995. She clerked for Justice Craig Enoch of the Supreme Court of Texas. Amy maintains an active pro bono docket and has received multiple awards for her pro-bono work.
