Experienced but inconsistent service

I engaged Ameek Ponda for a complex international tax matter involving a cross-border acquisition. His expertise in M&A taxation was evident, and I appreciated his deep knowledge of both domestic and global tax regulations. However, while his legal insights were strong, communication could be sporadic, and I often waited over a week for responses. The final outcome was satisfactory, but the experience felt uneven. I had higher expectations given his impressive track record, including being named Lawyer of the Year multiple times. While his technical skills are undeniable, the lack of proactive updates and slower-than-expected turnaround times left me slightly disappointed.
