Competent on insurance claim, but communication was inconsistent

I hired Amanda Rauh-Bieri at Miller Johnson to handle a denied business interruption insurance claim. Her background in insurance law, including the recognition from Best Lawyers, gave me confidence in her technical ability, and she did secure a reasonable settlement. However, the experience was mixed. While she clearly understood the complexities of Michigan insurance regulations, there were periods where responses to emails took longer than expected, leaving me uncertain about next steps. For straightforward legal matters, her competence from Michigan State University Law is evident. Yet, managing client expectations and maintaining consistent communication could be improved. The outcome was satisfactory, but the process felt more reactive than proactively guided at times.
