Competent on complex real estate transaction, but communication lagged

Amanda Gunter handled the acquisition of a multi-parcel commercial property for our development group. Her expertise in complex commercial real estate transactions was evident; she navigated the due diligence and title issues with the thoroughness you'd expect from an attorney recognized in real estate law. Her background representing master planned community developers was directly relevant. However, the experience was mixed. While the legal work was solid, response times were often slower than anticipated, and we sometimes had to follow up multiple times for updates. For straightforward matters, this would be fine, but on a fast-paced deal, the communication delays added unnecessary stress. She is clearly knowledgeable, but the client service aspect felt just adequate.
