Competent commercial litigation work, but communication could improve

Alyse Burks handled a contract dispute for my small business. Her legal knowledge from SMU and her recognition in commercial litigation were evident in the strategy she developed. The outcome was ultimately satisfactory. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Responses to emails were sometimes delayed by several days, and I occasionally had to follow up for updates on case developments. While she is clearly a capable attorney at Naman, Howell, Smith & Lee, and I appreciated her grasp of Texas business law, the client communication aspect didn't quite meet my expectations for a seamless experience. She got the job done competently.
