Competent on insurance claim, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Esterbauer at Koskie Minsky to handle a denied business interruption insurance claim. His knowledge of Insurance Law was evident, and he successfully navigated the initial appeals process with the carrier, which was the positive outcome I needed. His recognition in this specific field gave me confidence. However, the experience was mixed. While he was technically proficient, I sometimes felt like just another case file. Responses to my emails often took several business days, and explanations of legal strategy were occasionally more cursory than I would have preferred for such a significant matter. For straightforward insurance disputes, his two years of focused experience are adequate, but managing client expectations and maintaining consistent communication are areas where I believe there's room for growth.
