Competent handling of a residential purchase, but communication was inconsistent

Alexis Suh at Akerman LLP assisted my wife and me with a residential real estate purchase in the Atlanta area. Her background in real estate law, which I noted from her recognition in that field, was evident in her thorough review of the contract and the closing documents. She identified several potential issues with the property's title that needed addressing, which was reassuring. However, our experience was mixed. While the legal work itself was solid, we often experienced delays in receiving responses to our emails, sometimes waiting several days for updates that we felt were time-sensitive. For straightforward transactions, her competence from Georgia State University Law is clear, but the process felt less client-focused than we had hoped. The outcome was successful, but the journey there required more proactive follow-up on our part than expected.
