A competent and experienced attorney, but communication was a challenge

My company retained Alan Rose and his firm to handle a complex contract dispute with a former business partner that escalated into significant litigation. Given his decades of experience and his recognition in Bet-the-Company Litigation, we felt confident in his strategic capabilities. This confidence was generally well-placed; his analysis of the case's legal risks was sharp, and his courtroom demeanor, no doubt honed from his time as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, was commanding. We ultimately reached a settlement that protected our core interests. However, the process was sometimes frustrating. While Alan himself is clearly brilliant, direct communication with him was often delayed. Updates frequently came through junior associates, and responses to time-sensitive emails could take days. For a matter we considered urgent, this lack of responsiveness added unnecessary stress. You are paying for a top-tier legal mind with a formidable reputation, and in that regard, he delivers. But be prepared to manage expectations around accessibility and ensure your point of contact within Rose Law Partners is clearly defined from the outset.
