Afshaan Jiwaji Kapasi

Afshaan is a member of the firm’s Corporate/Commercial and Intellectual Property + Technology practice groups.She advises on a wide range of business matters, including the implementation of corporate reorganization and restructuring. Afshaan enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and supporting them across their business’ life cycle. She is committed to providing knowledgeable and practical advice across a breadth of industries.Prior to joining Alexander Holburn, Afshaan practised with the tax group of a large international firm where she gained experience with respect to a variety of tax matters, including tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions, and tax dispute resolution. She often draws on her tax experience when advising businesses and business owners.While pursuing her J.D. at the University of Alberta, Afshaan was the recipient of The Halyna Chomiak Freeland Memorial Award for her demonstrated leadership and community involvement.
