A competent attorney for international contract disputes

I engaged Adrian Nunez at Greenberg Traurig to assist with a complex contractual dispute involving a former joint venture partner based in Latin America. His profile, particularly his recognition in International Arbitration - Commercial, was a key factor in our selection. Adrian’s 18 years of experience were evident in his strategic approach to the case; he understood the nuances of cross-border commercial law and drafted a very solid arbitration submission. However, the overall experience was a mixed bag. While his legal work was technically proficient, communication was sometimes a challenge. Responses to emails could take several days, and updates often felt reactive rather than proactive. For a firm of this caliber, I expected a more streamlined client experience. The billing structure was clear, but at times the pace felt slower than anticipated. In the end, we achieved a satisfactory settlement, largely due to the strength of his written arguments. He is undoubtedly knowledgeable, especially given his recognition by Best Lawyers, but managing client expectations and accessibility could be improved.
