Competent on construction contracts, but communication could improve

I engaged Adam Wallwork at Thomson Geer for assistance with a commercial build-out contract in Baltimore. His background in front-end construction law, including his recognition in Doyle's Guide, was evident in the thorough contract review he provided. He identified several potential risk areas in the payment schedules and liability clauses that I had overlooked. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal work itself was solid, there were noticeable delays in receiving responses to follow-up emails, which added some stress during negotiations. His 11 years of experience in construction and infrastructure law provided a strong technical foundation for the matter, but the client service aspect felt just adequate. For straightforward contract reviews where timing isn't critical, he is a capable attorney, but be prepared to manage expectations on communication timelines.
